APP® – inlingua Accelerated Professional Program

For business language needs, inlingua has a specialized product line. The inlingua APP® Program was developed, in collaboration with leading international companies, by our educational development department at the inlingua centre in Bern (Switzerland), in cooperation with experienced educators from the respective local inlingua schools in the respective language area. “Learning English” is no longer the centre of attention, but, as indeed in everyday professional life the optimal release of the various operational tasks. Language is not an end in itself, but rather the means to an end – the tool that support the tasks handled and that its objectives are achieved.
The program has a modular structure, allowing concentration on individual objectives within the field of business.
You had English in school, but that was many years ago and you’ve never really needed it? And now suddenly your job requires it?
Actually, you have forgotten everything and think you need a beginners course to brush up on a bit of grammar?
More than half of our participants are like you, the so-called “false beginners” People, that have the subjective feeling that they have forgotten everything, but actually after a few course days, hidden knowledge stored in the back of their brain is reactivated. Especially for this target group the APP1 has been created. It allows them a fast and direct entry into the economic and business language of their choice (small groups, individual training or company-internal), without wasting time with the painful learning of vocabulary that they don’t even need in the business sector.
With APP® you navigate to the first two levels (proficiency levels) APP1 and APP2 targeted-orientated and as quickly as possible into the business language but still with a sufficiently broad vocabulary. At the more advanced competency levels (from APP3) you decide a direction, for example “Office Communication” and select various modules such as “Telephoning”, “Receiving Visitors” or “Basic Business Correspondence”. But also other topics such as “Sales, International Trade” (APP3) or “Business Administration and Finance” (APP4) allow for a very advanced specialization. Other modules are Presentations, Negotiating, Meetings, Socializing, Human Resources, Interview Skills and Real Estate.
A specialized language training for the modern economy is feasible in all major European languages. The inlingua APP® Program is available in every type of course, from individual training through seminars (including weekends) to individual concepts tailored to your company internal training.
